Choose a real speaker for a real reason
Original narration can be useful when the speaker’s identity, expertise or style genuinely matters. It can also simplify unusual terminology that repeatedly confuses a generated voice. That does not make every phone recording suitable for publication. Plan a quiet recording, an intelligible pace and a checked script. A recognizable voice is not permission to imply that its owner endorsed wording they never reviewed.
Separate the recording from the final mix
Keep an unprocessed original and note the approved script version. Noise reduction, trimming and music can change how a voice is perceived, so review the final mix rather than only the raw recording. Avoid cutting pauses so aggressively that an instruction becomes hard to follow. If a sentence needs replacement, match the recording conditions as closely as practical and listen to the transition in context.
Check the receiving workflow

If the specialist leaves the business, the team still needs to know what uses were authorized and who owns future revisions. This is an operational example, not a legal determination or a claim that a merchant automatically manages speaker permission.
