Fliki vs ElevenLabs: voiceover video or audio only

Fliki vs ElevenLabs: audio or finished video

ElevenLabs sells voice audio first and Fliki a finished narrated video, so their entry prices buy different things: ElevenLabs Starter is $6 a month and Fliki Standard $28, both billed monthly. A Fliki credit is its unit of use, spent per action. Fliki can also make audio alone, with Script to audio starting at 0.5 credits. ElevenLabs' pricing page also lists Studio projects and an Image & Video product.

Voices and cloning

ElevenLabs Starter lists a commercial license and instant voice cloning, and Creator adds professional voice cloning. Fliki allows 1 voice clone on Standard and 3 on Premium, after a consent recording, and says to clone only a voice you own or have permission to use. Commercial use starts on each tool's entry paid plan: Starter at ElevenLabs, Standard at Fliki.

Fliki says its voices come from eight text-to-speech providers, ElevenLabs among them. For dubbing, ElevenLabs lists a Dubbing Studio from Starter, while Fliki translates a video on paid plans into 80+ languages, as Fliki says. ElevenLabs' 30,000 Starter credits and Fliki's 180 Standard credits are different units.

ElevenLabs' Free plan lists text to speech, speech to text, sound effects, voice design, music and 3 Studio projects within its 10,000 credits a month.

Prices on the same billing basis

• Billed monthly: Fliki Standard $28 and Premium $88; ElevenLabs Starter $6, Creator $22 and Pro $99.
• Billed annually, shown per month: Fliki Standard $21 ($252 a year) and Premium $66 ($792 a year); ElevenLabs Starter $5, Creator $18.33 and Pro $82.50.

ElevenLabs shows its annual prices as an equivalent monthly price and says its prices exclude taxes, while Fliki's pricing page states no tax line. Fliki prices are per user, and Fliki pricing lists each plan's limits.

On canceling, ElevenLabs keeps the plan active to the end of the cycle and then drops the account to Free. Fliki also keeps access to the end of the paid period, with no refund on a paid plan.

Audio files: formats and watermarks

Fliki's FAQ lists MP3 for audio download, while its voiceover page also offers WAV on paid plans, so assume MP3 and check WAV in your account.

On Fliki's free plan, which asks for no card, audio downloads carry no watermark, though video exports do. Fliki's pages also disagree on how many languages a cloned voice speaks, so check your language in the app.

Who should pick Fliki and who should pick ElevenLabs

Pick ElevenLabs when you need voice audio, cloning or dubbing and will edit the video in another tool. Pick Fliki when the narration should arrive inside a finished video: its Script to video splits a script into scenes and adds voice, visuals, captions and music.
